UGC NET Syllabus 2023 Paper 1 & Paper 2 

Knowing the UGC NET 2023 syllabus for Paper 1 & 2 is the first step towards preparing for the exam. Candidates must be well versed with the latest UGC NET exam pattern and syllabus to prepare well for the exam. 

The UGC NET 2023 exam was conducted for 83 subjects to determine the eligibility of candidates for the post of Assistant Professor and/or Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Indian universities and colleges.

I - Teaching Aptitude

Teaching concepts, goals, teaching levels (memory, comprehension, and reflective), traits, and fundamental requirements.

Learner Characteristics: Characteristics (academic, social, emotional and cognitive) of adolescent and adult learners Individual differences.

Teaching-related factors include those relating to the instructor, students, tools, classroom amenities, learning environment, and institution.

Teaching Methods in Higher Education Institutions: Teacher-Centered vs. Learner-Centered Methods, Offline vs. Online Methods (Swayam, Swayamprabha, MOOCs, etc.)

Learning Support Systems: Traditional, Modern and ICT based.

Evaluation System: Computer-based testing, elements and types of assessment, evaluation in higher education's choice-based credit system, and innovation in the evaluation system.

II & III - Research Aptitude and Comprehension

VI - Logical Reasoning

Knowing how to build arguments: Forms of arguments, categorical propositions' structures, mood and shape, formal and informal fallacies, language use, word meanings and connotations, and traditional classes of oppositions.

Venn Diagrams: Simple and Versatile for Establishing the Validity of Arguments

Indian Logic: Means of knowledge

Anupalabdhi, Shabda, Upaman, Anumana, Pratyaksha, Arthapatti, and Anumana are all examples of Pramana (non-apprehension)

UGC NET Syllabus 2023 for Paper 2

The syllabus for Paper 2 consists of the subjects selected by the candidates while filling the application form. There will be 100 multiple choice questions from the subject chosen by the candidate.
