According to all the reports, it is coming out that the Chairman of UGC told on Twitter on April 12 that the result of UGC NET December 2022 cycle will be released on April 13, 2023. And today your wait will end, all the candidates who appeared in this exam will be able to download their UGC NET 2023 Result at ugcnet.nta.nic.in by visiting the official website of UGC.

Candidates should note one thing that NTA has not given a fixed time to release the result. It may be announced today, but the time is not told, till when it will be, after the release of the result, you will be able to give your result from this site by going to the direct link.

Process and criteria for declaration of UGC NET result

By looking at the UGC NET result, it is also important for the candidates to know what is the procedure and what is the criteria for this result. 

Therefore, for your help, we have told through the steps below that what is the process of UGC result and what is the criteria, all the candidates should read it carefully:

Phase I: 5% of the candidates who appeared in both NET papers will equal the number of candidates who will be qualified (total slots or eligibility of Assistant Professor).

Phase II: Total slots will be allotted to different categories as per the reservation policy of Government of India.

Phase III: General (Unreserved) candidates must appear in both the papers of both the examinations combined and simultaneously obtain at least 40% aggregate marks in order to qualify for "JRF and eligibility for Assistant Professor" and "Assistant Professor". be eligible for

Phase IV: Further both the papers taken together for General-EWS category candidates and all candidates belonging to reserved categories (viz. SC, ST, OBC (belonging to non-creamy layer), PWD and third gender) Must have at least 35% aggregate marks.

Phase V: The field of consideration for JRF will include all those applicants who applied for "Eligibility for both JRF and Assistant Professor" out of the total number of eligible candidates received as per Stage IV.

Phase VI: As per the reservation policy of Government of India, the total number of slots available for JRF are divided into different groups.

UGC NET December 2022 - Cut Offs

Candidates should tell you that the cut off marks of UGC NET result has not been declared yet. However, the minimum qualifying marks for candidates belonging to general category is 40 per cent and for candidates belonging to reserved category (OBC, PWD, SC/ST) is 35 per cent for both Paper I and II.

The UGC NET exam for the December 2022 cycle, which was held between February 21 and March 16, 2023, will have its results made public. At 663 centres in 186 locations, the UGC NET exam for December 2022 was administered in five rounds covering 83 subjects in 32 shifts.
