JKSSB JE Civil, Mechanical Syllabus 2023: Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board JKSSB has released the official JKSSB JE Notification 2023 regarding 1045 vacancies of Junior Engineer in Civil and Mechanical specialization. Along with this, the date of examinations has also been announced.
The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB JE) syllabus 2023 is based on the modules of Civil and Mechanical Engineering. The complete syllabus needs to be downloaded by the candidates as it will be easy to prepare for the exam.
The exam pattern of JKSSB JE 2023 consists of two papers. One paper is based on Civil Engineering and the second paper is based on Mechanical Engineering. Each paper consists of 120 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

Theory of Machines and Machine Design: Four bar linkages and link motion, flywheels and fluctuation of energy, power transmission by belt-V-belt and flat belt. Gears- Types of gears, gear profile and calculation of gear ratios. Cam. Governors-theory, and classification. Design of keys, shafts, riveted joints, couplings.
Thermal Engineering and Refrigeration and Air Conditioning: Thermodynamics, heat, work and temperature, first and second laws of thermodynamics. Carnot, Rankine, Otto and Diesel cycles. P-v and P-T diagram of H2O. Saturated, wet and superheated steam. Definition of the dryness fraction of steam, degree of superheat of steam. Rankine cycle of steam: simple.
Industrial Management and CAD/CAM: Planning, Organizing, Leading, Controlling. Inventory Control, Inspection & Quality Control. Basic concepts of CAD/CAM. NC, DNC, CNC machines.
